To book a place you can register for the full course of usually 6 classes by calling Julie on 07956 355068. They are held weekly at the above venue. Please provide block payment in advance to secure your place.
Current classes on offer and their description
Beginners Matwork Class
Classical methods of teaching are used originating from Joseph Pilates. It is a progressive course of classes where one class will develop from the other. Each week a new focus will be brought into the class, for example, methods of breathing, scapular, pelvic or core stability exercises. These methods will eventually be pieced together to enable students to perform the exercises with precision thus gaining the vital benefits of each movement. Students will be guided to use their bodies and perform the exercises in the correct way using a positive approach.
The results are a more defined and shaped body with longer, leaner more toned muscles. It also re-energises and calms and can be used for rehabilitation, back pain and any postural problems.
Improvers Matwork Class
This class is for students with 6 months or more experience with Pilates Matwork. Using the basic principles used in the beginners matwork class, students will work with more challenging exercises.
Intermediate Matwork Class
More advanced exercises are used to challenge the core stabilising muscles.
This course will work towards the intermediate classical mat by breaking down the exercises. This is a dynamic, challenging workout for people with previous Pilates experience.
